A Halloween disco fundraiser is set to be held to raise funds for the 2009 Airdrie CC boys’ football team to go on a trip to Holland next April. The young footballers have already participated in a sponsored walk up Tinto Hill and are now gearing up to provide some spooky fun for people of all ages.
The Halloween disco will take place at Airdrie Working Men’s Club on Friday, October 25, starting at 7.30 pm. There will be games, Irish bingo, dancing, and a buffet for the whole family to enjoy. Tesco is supporting the event by donating food for the buffet. Attendees can look forward to games, a raffle, and a prize for the best Halloween costume.
A spokesperson for the event expressed, “We are trying to raise enough money to ensure that each player on our team has the fantastic opportunity to participate in the tournament in Holland.” Tickets for the event cost £10 for adults and £5 for children.
