This Morning Star Writes Emergency Will After Health Scare Put Her in Hospital

Dr Zoe Williams, a well-known face on ITV’s This Morning, recently revealed that she had to draft an emergency will after being rushed to Accident and Emergency (A&E) due to health issues. The 44-year-old TV personality shared her experience with her followers on social media, posting pictures from the hospital, including one in a hospital gown and another connected to heart monitors.

Dr Zoe has been grappling with health concerns for some time, and amid the panic of the situation, she felt compelled to put together an emergency will. In a post alongside her hospital photos, she reassured her followers, “I got signed off by my Cardiologist today…I’m ok, but I wasn’t certain that I would be for a while! It’s been a year of health blips. The most worrying being my heart, but I’m ok.” Reflecting on the experience, she added, “Writing an emergency will from your hospital bed, just in case, is not the one though. But I’m ok. It’s interesting how we can be thankful for these experiences. They can make us see clearly. What matters. What doesn’t. And just how easy it is to take our health for granted.”

Following her post, Dr Zoe received an outpouring of love and well-wishes from both fans and fellow celebrities. Alesha Dixon, a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, commented with a heartfelt message, “Sending you love darling.” Rachel Stevens of S Club fame also sent her love, saying, “Oh lovely. Sending you so much love.” Other well-wishers included fans and celebrities like Lisa Snowdon, Katie Piper, and many others.

This is not the first time Dr Zoe has faced health challenges. Last September, she had to undergo spinal steroid injections due to another health scare. Keeping her followers updated on social media, she shared her journey, including moments before going into theatre and her recovery at home with her son.

Dr Zoe, a GP based in London, has built her media career around her passion for fitness and wellness since graduating from medical school in 2007. She is a familiar face on ITV’s daytime show and has also appeared in BBC programmes like Trust Me I’m a Doctor and various health documentaries.

As Dr Zoe continues to navigate her health journey, her openness about her struggles serves as a reminder to cherish one’s health and not take it for granted. Fans and colleagues alike continue to send their support and love to the TV personality during this challenging time.
