Man Utd’s Noussair Mazraoui undergoes minor procedure after heart palpitations

Manchester United’s Noussair Mazraoui recently underwent a minor medical procedure due to heart palpitations. The club confirmed that Mazraoui will be out of action for several weeks as a result of the procedure. Despite this, club sources have reassured fans that the procedure was precautionary and minor in nature, aiming to address a common condition.

This isn’t the first time Mazraoui has experienced heart-related issues. Following a positive Covid test during the 2022 World Cup, he was diagnosed with a mild inflammation of the pericardium a month later. However, the recent procedure was not deemed an emergency, according to the PA news agency.

Manchester United has not provided a specific timeline for Mazraoui’s return but anticipates that he will be ready for selection “in the next few weeks.” The defender, who had to withdraw from Morocco’s squad earlier, only recently joined United from Bayern Munich in a deal worth £12.5 million.

The club and fans alike will be hoping for a swift and smooth recovery for Mazraoui, as they look forward to having him back on the pitch contributing to the team’s success.
