A Texas realtor, Suzanne Clark Simpson, has gone missing from Olmos Park after a party, following a reported altercation with her husband, Brad Chandler Simpson. Authorities launched a search effort in a wooded area after a neighbour witnessed a heated argument between the couple.
Reports suggest that Suzanne, aged 51 and a mother of two, was involved in a physical fight with her husband, Brad, aged 53, the day before she was reported missing. Witnesses described seeing Suzanne trying to get away from Brad’s grasp outside their home. Brad was later arrested in Kendall County on a family violence charge related to his wife’s disappearance.
Shortly after the argument, neighbours heard screams coming from a nearby wooded area. Surveillance footage showed Brad leaving the house in his black GMC pickup truck and returning hours later. Suzanne was last seen wearing a long black dress with black heels, and her cell phone is also missing.
Concerns grew when Suzanne failed to pick up her child from school as usual. The child revealed to school staff that her parents were fighting, her father had assaulted her mother, and taken her phone. The police investigation found that Suzanne had a bruise on her elbow, further corroborating the child’s account.
Brad Simpson proved uncooperative during the investigation, failing to attend a follow-up interview. He was subsequently arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury-family violence and unlawful restraint. As of Wednesday night, he remained in custody with a bond set at $2 million.
Police Chief Fidel Villegas expressed the department’s commitment to finding Suzanne and urged anyone with information to come forward. Friends and family described Suzanne as a loving and reliable person, both at home and work. Authorities continue to search for Suzanne and are seeking information on a Black GMC 2019 pickup truck.
