Royal Caribbean has announced exciting Eurovision-themed sailings for superfans to enjoy in 2025. Fans of the popular music event will have the opportunity to embark on two themed cruises, including a sailing from Southampton.
The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted in Basel following Switzerland’s victory this year. Royal Caribbean International is offering exclusive themed-sailings to various European destinations for fans to immerse themselves in the Eurovision spirit.
Royal Caribbean, along with other cruise lines like Carnival, Cunard, and P&O, first showcased the Eurovision final during the UK-hosted event in 2023. As an official partner of Eurovision, Royal Caribbean will organise a viewing party on the renovated Allure of the Seas during the final in May. Additionally, a throwback party sailing will take place on Independence of the Seas in June.
Eurovision enthusiasts can board Allure of the Seas from Barcelona, Spain, on 11 May or Civitavecchia, Italy on 15 May for a week-long voyage across the western Mediterranean. The sailings will feature Eurovision-themed experiences such as karaoke nights, quizzes, a gala dinner, and surprise performances, with prices starting at £843 per person for the Barcelona round-trip.
For those looking to celebrate Eurovision from Southampton, Independence of the Seas offers a three-night Eurovision Song Contest throwback getaway departing on 18 June to Bruges, Belgium. Guests will enjoy nostalgic entertainment related to the competition throughout the sailing, with prices beginning from £399 per person for an interior cabin.
Royal Caribbean is also running an Instagram competition where fans can win a trip on the Independence throwback sailing, $600 onboard spending money, and two tickets to the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final in Basel, Switzerland.
