The property, situated in the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood, boasts four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Following Perry’s purchase, he undertook significant renovations on the house, originally constructed in 1965, which included the installation of an outdoor pool. The sale of the residence for $8.5 million was reported by The New York Times.
The new owner of the home is Anita Verma-Lallian, a real estate developer and film producer from Scottsdale, Arizona. The deal was finalised on October 16, almost a year after Perry’s passing. Verma-Lallian’s intentions for the 3,500-square-foot property remain undisclosed, leaving speculation about potential future renovations.
Perry’s real estate holdings included multiple properties across various locations. Concurrent with the sale of his Pacific Palisades home, he also listed a beach house in Malibu for $14.95 million, ultimately selling for $13.1 million in 2021 after price reductions. Additionally, his 9,300-square-foot penthouse in Los Angeles was sold for $21.6 million in the same year, surpassing his original purchase price of $20 million in 2017.
The circumstances surrounding Perry’s untimely demise shed light on the dangers of unsupervised medication practices. An investigation revealed that the actor had been undergoing ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety. However, his passing was attributed to additional doses administered without proper supervision. Legal actions were taken against individuals involved in providing the drug, with a plea agreement reached by Perry’s assistant and other defendants.
