The incidents, which took place on October 29 last year, involved assault charges, with Morrison also admitting to stealing a pair of gloves from a child. Morrison, from Logans Road, was sentenced to 28 months detention with a 15-month supervised release order, while Goodfellow, from Merry Street, received an 18-month sentence.

At Hamilton Sheriff Court, details of the attacks were revealed. Morrison targeted several individuals, attempting to involve them in making a video. One victim, a 17-year-old male, was walking in Quarry Street when Morrison approached him, punched him in the face, and struck him on the forehead with a bottle, causing a 1.5cm wound. Subsequently, Morrison demanded money and belongings from two young boys in Hamilton Palace Grounds, forcibly taking a pair of Nike gloves from one of them. He then targeted a 67-year-old man, grabbing him and punching him in the face.

In another incident, Goodfellow approached a 16-year-old boy and inexplicably smashed a glass bottle in his face, causing a minor cut. Police intervened following reports of the violence, with both accused resisting arrest.
