A TikTok star known as Mr Prada has been apprehended in Texas in connection with the brutal murder of a therapist located in Louisiana, approximately 400 miles away. Terryon Ishmael Thomas, also known as Mr Prada, faces charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle following the death of 69-year-old William Nicholas Abraham.
Thomas, a 20-year-old with a massive online following of 8.2 million, was reportedly caught driving the victim’s black Lincoln MKZ in Dallas. The arrest took place after Thomas initially refused to stop and then allegedly reversed the car into a police unit, sped away through a traffic light, and later crashed the vehicle in an attempt to flee from law enforcement, according to an arrest warrant.
Surveillance footage stills of Thomas were released by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office prior to his arrest, with authorities labelling him as a person of interest. Online records indicate that Thomas was booked into Dallas County Jail on Monday night.
Abraham’s body was discovered on the side of a highway between Fluker and Tangipahoa in Louisiana, with signs of severe violence. He was found rolled up in a piece of tarp, partially concealed along the roadside. The Tangipahoa Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed that the cause of death was homicide due to blunt force trauma to the head.
Details of a potential motive behind the killing have not been disclosed by the authorities, and it remains unclear whether there was any prior connection between the victim and Thomas. Abraham, described in his biography as a life coach, licensed professional counselor, motivational speaker and author, had his office located near Baton Rouge.
Family members of Abraham informed local media that he had left home on Saturday to clean his car before heading to his office for paperwork, but he never returned. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, handling the investigation, has been approached for additional information on the case.
