The alleged attack took place on October 1 between 1.37pm and 2.19pm at the Tesco ladies’ facilities on Bridge Road, Sheerness, Kent. According to the victim, she was followed into the restroom by a man described as eastern European, around 30 years old, standing approximately 5ft 3in tall, and wearing a blue tracksuit.
Detective Inspector Samantha Stuart of Kent Police has stated that from initial investigations and CCTV footage, it was evident that several individuals entered the toilet area during the specified timeframe, including a woman who helped the victim during the distressing incident. DI Stuart emphasised the importance of speaking to anyone who was present in the supermarket and used the toilets between 1.37pm and 2.30pm on the day in question.
