The research conducted by Verdant Leisure identified the 10 best places to witness the vibrant colours of autumn, with Culzean Country Park claiming the number one spot. Each location was evaluated based on the percentage of woodland area and the volume of positive TripAdvisor reviews received in September, October, and November. Culzean Country Park stood out with 55% of its land covered in woodland and an impressive 662 four and five-star TripAdvisor reviews.
In second place was Moors Valley Country Park in Hampshire, followed by Cumbria’s Whinlatter Forest Park in third. Galloway Forest Park in Dumfries and Galloway was the only other Scottish entry on the list, coming in at sixth place.
