**Santa’s Grotto Returns to Ayr Central for the Festive Season**
Ayr Central Shopping Centre is set to sprinkle some festive magic this Christmas as it welcomes back the beloved Santa’s Grotto, hosted by the Crosshouse Children’s Fund. Families can visit the grotto every weekend starting from November 28 through until December 24, offering a wonderful opportunity for children to meet Santa Claus and his merry band of elves.
For just £10 per child, attendees can create joyful memories, share their Christmas wishes, and receive a special gift directly from Father Christmas himself. Moreover, the grotto features a magical post box where little ones can send their letters to Santa, ensuring their messages reach him in time for the big day.
All proceeds from the grotto will support the vital work of the Crosshouse Children’s Fund, which provides essential care and assistance for babies, children, and their families in hospitals across the Ayrshire and Arran regions. This initiative not only brings joy to families but also serves a significant cause within the local community.
Kevin Lang, Centre Manager at Ayr Central, expressed his enthusiasm about Santa’s return, stating, “We’re delighted to welcome Santa back to Ayr Central this Christmas, bringing festive magic to families while supporting a fantastic local cause.” He emphasised the importance of community engagement during the holiday season, asserting that every visit not only spreads cheer but also enables the charity’s vital work.
Graeme Strawhorn, Fundraising Lead at the Crosshouse Children’s Fund, echoed this sentiment, highlighting that visiting Santa this year will help raise essential funds for young patients in need of care. “Every donation makes a difference, and we appreciate your support at this time of year,” he remarked.
For families wishing to attend, booking in advance is necessary to secure a spot in this festive extravaganza. More information on booking times for Santa’s Grotto is available through the Crosshouse Children’s Fund’s official website.
In summary, the return of Santa’s Grotto at Ayr Central offers not just a delightful experience for families but also extends crucial support to local children’s health services. This initiative beautifully combines festive fun with a charitable cause, reminding the community of the spirit of giving during the holiday season.
