### Driver Sentenced After Passenger’s Death and Subsequent Offence
**Bristol, UK** – Michael Ronner, a 40-year-old resident of Kingswood, finds himself facing justice once again after a series of troubling driving incidents. Ronner previously received a six-month suspended prison sentence in June for causing the tragic death of his passenger, Tyler Carley, during a fatal collision on the A4174 in Mangotsfield.

Ronner was convicted of causing death by careless driving after the horror crash resulted in the untimely demise of Carley. Following the incident, he was also disqualified from driving for 18 months. Yet, in a startling turn of events, just a month later, Ronner was caught driving again, leading to further legal ramifications.
On discovering Ronner behind the wheel during a routine stop, an officer from the Avon and Somerset Roads Policing Unit was met with dismissive remarks from the driver, who claimed that his disqualification felt “harsh.” This disregard for the law prompted the officer to seize Ronner’s vehicle and report him for driving while disqualified, as well as for operating a vehicle without insurance.
In Bristol Magistrates’ Court in August, Ronner admitted guilt to both charges. On 5 November, he was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court to eight months in prison and handed a more severe 31-month ban on his driving privileges.
PC Dan Hamblin, who dealt with the original accident, expressed frustration at Ronner’s lack of comprehension regarding the gravity of his actions. He stated, “Having attended that awful collision, I was acutely aware of Ronner’s recent ban. To find him driving again is infuriating.”

Tyler Carley’s family has faced ongoing anguish due to their loss, compounded by Ronner’s reluctance to accept responsibility for the consequences of his driving.
