Two individuals have been apprehended following the discovery of a significant amount of Class A drugs in Bonhill last week. Acting on information, authorities conducted a search of a residence in the area on Wednesday, where the arrests were made. Police Scotland stated, “Based on intelligence received, officers from the Local Community Team attended at an address in the Bonhill area on Wednesday (October 2) in possession of a drugs search warrant.” Upon entering the premises, a woman and two men were detained. A search of the property yielded a substantial quantity of Class A drugs. Subsequently, a 26-year-old male from Dumbarton was charged with being involved in the supply of a Class A drug, while a 24-year-old male from Bonhill was charged with possession of a Class A drug. Local officers and the Divisional Crime Team plan to continue targeting local addresses used for the distribution and sale of controlled substances in the near future.
