Ukraine’s military has reported a striking development in the ongoing conflict with Russia, claiming to have targeted a major oil terminal in Crimea that supplies fuel for Russia’s war effort. The attack on the oil terminal in Feodosia, a strategic location on the south coast of the Russia-occupied Crimea Peninsula, comes at a crucial juncture in the conflict, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The war, which began with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, has evolved into a protracted battle of attrition with no clear end in sight.
