Police ‘increasingly concerned’ about missing West Lothian man amid public appeal
Authorities in Livingston have expressed escalating worries over a missing man from West Lothian as they continue to seek public assistance. William Johnstone, aged 48, was last spotted in the East Calder region around 11.30 pm on Wednesday, 9th October. Described as approximately 5ft 9in tall, with a stocky build and bald, he was dressed in black jogging bottoms and a green Army-style jacket at the time of his disappearance.
William has access to a blue and black Vauxhall Grandland, with registration SM23WHD, and is known to travel to the South side of Edinburgh. Inspector Richard Homewood stated, “Concerns are growing for William as time passes and our enquiries to trace him are ongoing. I am appealing to anyone who has seen William or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us. I would also ask anyone who has seen his car, which we believe was travelling on the A71 around 1.55 am, to get in touch.”
