The former president described the young couple as “very exceptional” before excitedly stating, “she’s going to have a baby. So that’s nice.”
Tiffany Trump and Michael Boulos tied the knot at Mar-a-Lago in 2022. The 30-year-old Tiffany had revealed her engagement just a day before her father’s presidency ended. The couple’s relationship began in 2018, with Boulos being introduced to the Trump family during Thanksgiving festivities at Mar-a-Lago that same year.
Boulos, who hails from Nigeria, comes from a family that owns several businesses in the region. Despite controversial comments made by Trump about certain African countries, the Boulos family even attended a Christmas Eve event at the White House in 2019. Born in Kfaraakka, Lebanon, Boulos is of French and Lebanese descent and moved to Nigeria at a young age, where his family oversees a multibillion-dollar conglomerate operating across more than 10 West African countries.
Michael’s father, Dr Massad Boulos, manages the family businesses, while his mother, Sarah Boulos, established the Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria. Boulos spent his early years in Lagos, attending the American International School. He pursued studies in project management finance and risk, earning a Master’s degree from City, University of London, after completing a Bachelor’s degree in business management from Regent’s University London.
Dr Massad Boulos currently serves as an envoy to the Arab community in Michigan. Originally from Lebanon, he moved to Texas during his teenage years and later attended the University of Houston. During an interview with the AP in June, Boulos emphasised the Arab American community’s concerns regarding the situation in the Middle East and underlined the importance of peace efforts.
