A sick individual from Scotland has been sentenced to jail for sexually abusing three children over a period of more than a decade. Robert Foulkes, a 65-year-old retired health and safety officer, committed these heinous acts in Aberdeenshire. Foulkes recorded himself abusing a young girl on his mobile phone and then showed her the footage. He also made two other children watch pornography before abusing them.
Foulkes pleaded guilty at the High Court in Edinburgh on September 13, 2024, and was sentenced on October 22, 2024. The court handed him an 18-year extended sentence, which includes a 15-year prison term and three years of supervision. Additionally, Foulkes was placed on the sex offenders register for life, and non-harassment orders were granted to prevent him from contacting the victims indefinitely.
Scotland’s Procurator Fiscal for High Court Sexual Offending, Katrina Parkes, emphasized the bravery of the victims in coming forward and seeking justice. Detective Inspector Bruce Buntain praised the courage of those who reported Foulkes’ crimes and highlighted Police Scotland’s commitment to tackling sexual crimes and supporting victims.
