Two pensioners have suffered “serious injuries” following a crash that closed a major road in Dumfries and Galloway for nine hours. The incident occurred on the A75 near Gretna at around 11.10 am on Monday morning when a black Peugeot 3008 and a white Ford Transit van collided.
Two men, aged 83 and 77, were taken to the hospital with severe injuries, according to Police Scotland.
