In a striking display of contrasts, Robert Kelbie, a 43-year-old with deep ties in the underworld, has been seen rubbing shoulders with some of the most prominent names in the celebrity and sporting arenas. Known for his flamboyant lifestyle, Kelbie was recently spotted mingling with notorious gangster Andy Cairns at an extravagant gathering held at the luxurious Gleneagles Hotel, an event valued at a whopping £400,000.
Cairns, 47, is infamous not only for his high-profile criminal background, which includes convictions for assault, robbery, and firearms-related offences, but also for his mention in the notorious murder trial of financial adviser Lynda Spence back in 2013. With such company, Kelbie’s penchant for celebrity encounters raises eyebrows in both social and legal circles.
On his social media platforms, Kelbie has proudly showcased his meetings with a host of high-profile celebrities. From iconic musicians to heavyweight boxing champions, he seems to revel in his star-studded associations. Recently, he shared a memorable snapshot with former Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher, reminiscing about the exhilarating nights during Oasis’ 2025 tour. In the snapshot, Kelbie can be seen exuberantly posing with Gallagher after a concert in Cardiff while proudly wearing an Oasis lanyard, captioning the moment, “If Carlsberg did nights. Best night #oasis”.
The gangster’s connections extend further into the boxing world, where he has been photographed alongside Tyson Fury on multiple occasions, including a press event before Fury’s showdown with Anthony Joshua, scheduled for December of this year. Kelbie’s delight was apparent as he posed in the towering shadow of the heavyweight champion.
Among other celebrity encounters, Kelbie has crossed paths with football legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney. His star-struck moment with Ronaldo took place ringside at a boxing match in Saudi Arabia, where the two posed together to the delight of fans and followers.
Additionally, the gangster has shared images with sports icons like Sir Alex Ferguson and Mike Tyson, emphasising his eclectic circle of connections. While his criminal past shadows him, these celebrity encounters highlight a contrasting side of Kelbie, bringing an intriguing blend of notoriety and celebrity allure.
In summary, Robert Kelbie exemplifies a bizarre intersection of celebrity culture and the criminal underworld, demonstrating how fame can transcend societal boundaries. As his social media continues to display his affluent lifestyle and high-profile friendships, the fascination surrounding him is likely to grow, compelling society to ponder the complexity of celebrity status amidst scandalous backgrounds.
