Liam Payne’s Ex Reveals One Direction Bandmate Who ‘Threw Him Up a Wall’
Liam Payne’s ex-fiancée, Maya Henry, has come forward to reveal the identity of the former One Direction bandmate who allegedly threw the singer up against a wall during a backstage altercation. The incident dates back to 2022 when Payne shocked fans by claiming that there was intense animosity among the band members.
In a viral interview on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Payne disclosed that there was a moment of heated argument backstage which escalated to physical confrontation, with one member throwing him against a wall. While not explicitly naming the individual involved, Payne defiantly warned them that consequences could follow if the aggression continued.
Henry recently took to TikTok to respond to speculations circulating online, with fans suggesting it was Louis Tomlinson who had been involved in the altercation. However, Henry clarified in her video that Payne had informed her it was Zayn Malik who was responsible for the incident, contradicting the speculations.
Despite attempts to reach out to Malik’s representatives for comment, there has been no official response regarding the allegations. The controversy resurfaces memories of the band’s formation in 2010 on The X Factor, with Payne asserting his desire to be the frontman which later transpired differently with Niall Horan being the first to join the band.
Following One Direction’s meteoric rise to fame and subsequent hiatus in 2016, each member pursued solo careers. Payne found success with his single “Strip That Down” in 2017 and released his debut album, LP1, in 2019. Meanwhile, Malik announced his solo tour in support of his upcoming album, Room Under the Stairs.
Horan is currently on tour with The Show Live, Tomlinson is embarking on his Faith in the Future World Tour, and Styles is reportedly on a break after concluding his Love on Tour in July 2023.
