Oasis Announce Australia Dates for 2025 Reunion Tour: How to Get Tickets
British rock band Oasis has thrilled fans by announcing their first performances in Australia in 19 years as part of their highly anticipated 2025 reunion world tour. The band, known for hits like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” recently confirmed that feuding brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will be sharing the stage once again next year, marking their first joint performance since their infamous 2009 fallout at Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
Following the unveiling of tour dates across the UK, Ireland, and North America, Oasis revealed plans to grace stadiums in Sydney and Melbourne in October and November 2025. In a statement, the band cheekily remarked, “People of the land down under… You better run you better take cover… We are coming. You are most welcome.”
The Sydney and Melbourne shows will serve as a nostalgic return for Oasis fans, with it being 19 years since their last appearance in Australia. Unlike the UK tour, Live Nation, the tour’s promoter, has confirmed that the dynamic pricing model that caused a stir among fans will not be utilised for the Australian leg of the tour. Tickets for the Melbourne show at Marvel Stadium on 31 October will be available for purchase starting at 10 am AEDT on Tuesday, 15 October, while tickets for Sydney’s Accor Stadium on 7 November will go on sale at 12 pm AEDT on the same day. Fans eager to secure their spots can register for presale access until 8 am on Wednesday, 9 October.
As the excitement builds up for Oasis’ reunion tour, the band recently surged to the top of the UK album charts with their debut album, “Definitely Maybe,” celebrating its 30th anniversary. Fans can anticipate more milestones next year as it marks the 30th anniversary of their iconic second album, “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?,” which remains one of the highest-selling albums by a British act of all time.
While the North America tour dates will feature support from US rock band Cage the Elephant, support acts for the UK, Ireland, and Australia shows are yet to be announced. The reunion tour promises to be a spectacular journey down memory lane for fans, rekindling the magic of Oasis’ timeless anthems and legendary performances.
