Harry Kane trains away from England squad as he continues recovery from injury

Harry Kane was absent from England squad training on Tuesday morning as he continues his recovery from an injury sustained during Bayern Munich’s 3-3 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt. Despite the setback, Kane made his way to St George’s Park immediately after the match. England’s medical team cleared him to participate in the training session on Monday, but the 31-year-old striker opted for an individualised indoor programme in a bid to regain full fitness for the upcoming Nations League fixture against Greece at Wembley on Thursday.

Interim manager Lee Carsley oversaw training with the remaining 21 players as they gear up for the double-header of Nations League matches, including the subsequent trip to Finland on Sunday. The squad experienced further setbacks as Ezri Konsa, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Kobbie Mainoo were forced to withdraw due to injuries sustained while playing for their respective clubs over the weekend. In response, Carsley decided against calling up any replacements at this time.

The absence of Kane from training raises questions about his availability for the crucial upcoming matches, where his leadership and goal-scoring prowess would be greatly missed if he is unable to feature. Nevertheless, the England squad remains focused and determined as they prepare to face their opponents in the Nations League campaign under the interim management of Carsley. With the team facing challenges on the road to recovery, fans and pundits alike will be eagerly awaiting updates on Kane’s condition and hoping for a swift return to full fitness for the star striker.
