Both Andy and Simon shared their personal connections to Scotland, with Andy tracing his ancestry back to Scotland through his mother’s surname, Stirling. Simon fondly recalled his experiences with Scottish girlfriends and visits to scenic locations like the Isle of Skye. The band members acknowledged the warm reception they have always received from Scottish audiences, noting the enthusiastic and participative nature of Glasgow crowds.
