The distressing video, displayed to jurors during the child abuse trial of his father Brandon Cevera, showed young Benjamin with black eyes and visible bones in July 2021, shortly before his passing. The footage unveiled the harrowing condition of the malnourished child, who weighed only 28 pounds at the time. Stepmother Miranda Casarez, aged 25, who also appeared in the footage, had been sentenced to 25 years in prison earlier this year for her involvement in the abuse.
