Haas F1 Racing Team Forms New Partnership with Toyota

The American team, led by owner Gene Haas, has appointed Japanese engineer Ayao Komatsu as their team principal, succeeding Guenther Steiner at the beginning of the 2024 season.
Toyota, which entered F1 in 2002 and withdrew as a chassis constructor in 2009 after financial challenges, is now set to become the official technical partner of Haas. The Haas cars will proudly bear Toyota branding at the upcoming United States Grand Prix in Austin, signalling the official commencement of this partnership on the racetrack. Looking ahead to the next season, British teenage driver Ollie Bearman is set to join Esteban Ocon in a fresh driver lineup at Haas, while Nico Hulkenberg moves to Sauber (Audi) and Kevin Magnussen faces possible exclusion from the 20-man grid.
Komatsu is scheduled to address the press in Fuji on Friday morning, providing further insights into the strategic direction and ambitions of this new collaboration between Haas F1 and Toyota.
