Game of Thrones star Esmé Bianco blasts ‘mishandled’ Marilyn Manson claims

Game of Thrones actress Esmé Bianco has spoken out against what she perceives as the mishandling of claims against rock musician Marilyn Manson. Bianco, who portrayed Ros in the popular fantasy series, has expressed her distress over the lack of progress in the legal case surrounding her allegations against Manson. She alleges that Manson trafficked her, subjected her to physical and sexual abuse, including rape at knifepoint, during their two-year relationship that ended in 2011.

The British-born actress shared her frustration at the delay in Manson facing charges, despite her and other women coming forward with similar disturbing accounts in early 2021. Bianco revealed that she provided detailed evidence, including photos, emails, and texts, to law enforcement agencies, and even underwent a three-hour interview with prosecutors. She emphasised her willingness to testify in court and her desire to see Manson held accountable for his actions.

Bianco expressed her disappointment in the prolonged investigation, stating that almost four years have passed since she first reported the alleged abuse to the police. She highlighted the impact of the delay on survivors of abuse, mentioning receiving death threats during this period. Despite the challenges, she remains resolute in her pursuit of justice, hoping that Manson will be brought to trial and face the consequences of his alleged actions.

In response to the allegations, Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, denied the claims through his lawyer, labelling them as part of a “coordinated attack” by former partners. His ex-fiancée, Evan Rachel Wood, previously accused him of abuse in a social media post in 2021. Other women also came forward with similar stories, prompting a public reckoning with Manson’s behaviour.

Bianco recounted harrowing incidents of violence and coercion she experienced during her relationship with Manson, detailing instances where she was allegedly chased with an axe and cut with a knife without consent. Despite the challenges she has faced, including threats and public scrutiny, Bianco remains determined to see justice served.

The ongoing legal saga underscores the complexities of addressing allegations of abuse and the need for a thorough and timely investigative process. Bianco’s courage in speaking out against powerful figures like Manson highlights the importance of supporting survivors and holding perpetrators accountable for their actions.
