What was supposed to be a fun evening turned into a disturbing episode of violence, culminating in Landry headbutting her in front of numerous onlookers. The assault left Lauren with physical injuries and emotional trauma that lasted for weeks.
After reporting the incident to the police, it was revealed that Landry had a history of violence towards women, shocking Lauren. Now 33, she has chosen to speak out about her experience, sharing CCTV footage of the assault to raise awareness about Clare’s Law. Reflecting on how her relationship with Landry began, Lauren described how he quickly gained her trust by exploiting her vulnerabilities and manipulating her emotions.
