Man taken to hospital after assault in Glasgow street cops appeal for ‘men with foreign accents’

A 32-year-old man has been hospitalised following an assault in Parkhead, Glasgow, last night. The incident occurred around 8.20pm on Springfield Road near Tollcross Road. The victim was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. Police are seeking information from the public, particularly two men seen in the area. One of them wore a navy jacket with the hood up, and both had foreign accents.

Constable Ross Gallacher stated that extensive investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the assault. The authorities are urging anyone with relevant CCTV or dash-cam footage to come forward to assist the investigation.
