Housebuilder launches sales at new Hamilton development

Housebuilder, Cala Homes, has announced the launch of sales at its new Hamilton development, Cornhill Village. The first phase of the development, situated off Strathaven Road, will consist of 26 four- and five-bedroomed homes. These properties are part of the Hamilton community growth area and will showcase sustainable technology and features aimed at promoting biodiversity.

The sales for the initial phase are now open, with interested buyers able to view and purchase from Cala Homes’ Sequoia Meadows development in Jackton, South Lanarkshire. Prices for the properties in this release range from £400,000 to £510,000. Cala Homes describes the location on Strathaven Road as “semi-rural,” offering a peaceful setting while remaining in close proximity to the town centre.

The housebuilder emphasises that all house styles within the Cornhill Village development are designed to maximise natural light and provide flexible living spaces suitable for various types of buyers, particularly growing families. Marketing manager, Louise Dunn, expressed enthusiasm for the sustainability focus of the homes, anticipating a high level of interest due to the diverse range of property styles available.

Cornhill Village marks Cala Homes’ return to Hamilton following the construction of the Wellshaw Grove development over a decade ago. The developer aims to create a vibrant and popular community with a wide range of accommodation options tailored to meet the needs of modern buyers.

As construction progresses, Cala Homes will continue to provide updates on the development’s growth and any additional phases that will be released for sale in the future. Interested buyers are encouraged to visit the Sequoia Meadows development to explore the available properties and secure their place in this new and promising neighbourhood in Hamilton.
