Sara Sharif’s sobbing dad called 999 with chilling 4 word admission

A tragic case has unfolded at the Old Bailey, where the heart-wrenching details of Sara Sharif’s untimely death have been revealed. The ten-year-old girl’s body was discovered under a blanket on a bunk bed in her home in Woking, Surrey, last year. Her sobbing father, Urfan Sharif, reportedly made a chilling call to the police from Pakistan, confessing, “I’ve killed my daughter.” The trial began with Urfan Sharif, stepmother Beinash Batool, and uncle Faisal Malik facing charges of murder.

According to reports, Sara had been subjected to a brutal “campaign of abuse” in the weeks leading up to her tragic death, resulting in various injuries including broken bones, burns, and extensive bruising. The trio – who shared the home with Sara – fled to Pakistan the day before her body was found. The court heard that Urfan Sharif, a taxi driver, contacted Surrey Police in the early hours of August 10, admitting to the heinous act.

During the distressing eight-and-a-half-minute emergency call played in court, Urfan Sharif reportedly claimed that he had “legally punished” his daughter and that she was “naughty.” He confessed to beating her excessively but insisted it was not his intention to kill her. Shockingly, a note found next to Sara’s lifeless body, allegedly written by her father, echoed his words from the phone call, expressing regret and fear.

The prosecution emphasised the severity of Sara’s mistreatment, describing it as “appalling” and “brutal.” The defendants were accused of complicity in the abuse that led to Sara’s tragic demise. Despite the attempts by each defendant to shift blame onto the others, they have collectively denied the charges of murder and causing or allowing the death of a child, as the trial progresses.

The court was informed that Sara’s abuse had gone unreported to any external authority, highlighting the harrowing nature of her ordeal within the confines of her home. As the legal proceedings continue, the truth surrounding Sara Sharif’s tragic fate remains the focal point, shedding light on a dark and heartbreaking chapter in her short life. The quest for justice and accountability in this distressing case continues as the judicial process unfolds.
