Legendary DJ Judge Jules is set to grace the stage at Stirling’s Albert Halls next month, headlining a charity event focused on addressing mental health issues. The renowned Ibiza DJ and radio presenter will be the main act at the gig organised by the Cambusbarron-based mental health charity, Back Onside.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, November 3, and aims to raise crucial funds for the charity’s mental health initiatives that work towards enhancing mental health through educational programs, support systems, and inclusive projects throughout Scotland. In a heartfelt video message prior to the event, Judge Jules expressed his honour in being part of the cause and encouraged attendees to expect a night filled with incredible music, positive vibes, and most importantly, an opportunity to unite for a meaningful purpose.
Founder and CEO of Back Onside, Libby Emmerson, shared her excitement for the upcoming event, highlighting that Back Onside LIVE is expected to be a standout day that brings together a lineup of talented performers rallying behind the cause to generate essential funds for mental health projects. The event will feature a 10-hour lineup, providing attendees over 16 years old with a full day of entertainment while supporting the important cause of mental health awareness.
Aside from Judge Jules headlining the event, other performers include Clyde 1’s George Bowie and Cassi, Drums n Roses, Dionne Hickey, Till Death Do Us Party, BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalist Amy Papiransky, as well as a showcase of local talent. Doors will open at 12pm, with ticket prices set at £19.50 for standing and £15 for seated attendees.
Libby emphasised that all proceeds from the event will stay within the local community, directly contributing to funding counselling services for individuals on their waiting list, ensuring more people can access the necessary support promptly. Back Onside has been actively providing mental health support to individuals of all ages and has recently partnered with Balfron High School to enhance mental health resources for students, staff, and parents, offering drop-in sessions and awareness presentations.
