Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis has politely asked autograph hunters in Los Angeles to maintain a safe distance from him after a recent alarming encounter that left him feeling unsettled. The actor, who was recently in the spotlight for his remarks to Travis Kelce regarding Taylor Swift, was spotted leaving the Dynasty Typewriter Comedy Club around 9:30 pm on Saturday night, according to a report by TMZ.
Upon exiting the venue, Sudeikis found himself surrounded by approximately 15-20 fans seeking autographs. In a video capturing the incident, Sudeikis can be seen requesting the fans to stop approaching him for autographs, saying, “Guys, please, stop, stop, I’m not going to sign anything,” later adding, “I literally have to go!” He expressed his discomfort by stating, “I’m sorry, that was a lot, that scared me. For real, I’m just a human being. Please, I’m going home – good night.”
Sudeikis isn’t the only celebrity addressing the issue of intense fan culture. Singer Chappell Roan recently voiced her concerns, branding some fans as “entitled” for their intrusive behaviour towards celebrities.
