British Photojournalist Allegedly Stabbed to Death by Teenage Son on California Hiking Trail

Authorities subsequently arrested Mr. Lowe’s 19-year-old son, Emir, on suspicion of murder. The teenager now faces one count of murder and is due to appear in court at the West Covina Courthouse.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that the case has been presented to the District Attorney’s Office for filing considerations, with Emir Lowe being charged in connection with the murder of his father, Paul Lowe. The tragic incident occurred near Stoddard Canyon Falls on Mount Baldy Road around 3:28 pm.
Law enforcement officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call and found a white male adult with severe upper torso injuries. Tragically, despite efforts by the San Bernardino Fire Department, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A suspect was detained after being involved in a solo traffic collision a few miles away.
