Sebastian Stan, known for his role as Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has stated that former President Donald Trump should show appreciation for his portrayal in the controversial biopic “The Apprentice.” In the film, Stan plays Trump during his early career as a real estate businessman. Despite facing backlash and criticism, Stan believes that Trump should be thankful for the multidimensional depiction offered in the movie.
Directed by Ali Abbasi, “The Apprentice” delves into Trump’s endeavors to establish himself in New York during the 1970s and 1980s, with lawyer Roy Cohn portrayed by Jeremy Strong. Trump previously denounced the film as “fake and classless,” leading to tensions surrounding its distribution.
