Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris has expressed that the recent death of Hamas’ top leader, Yahya Sinwar, presents an opportunity to bring an end to the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Harris, speaking from a college campus in Wisconsin where she was campaigning, stated that Sinwar’s killing by Israel could potentially lead to the cessation of hostilities in the region.
