Lando Norris has clinched pole position for the United States Grand Prix, edging out his title rival Max Verstappen by a mere 0.031 seconds. This victory comes as a redemption for Norris, who finished third in the sprint race after being overtaken by Carlos Sainz on the final lap.
Verstappen, who secured his first win in almost four months during the sprint race, had extended his championship lead from 52 to 54 points. However, Norris quickly turned the tables in qualifying, securing the vital pole position by the slimmest of margins.
