The Met Office, however, does not foresee snow in its long-range forecasts. Looking ahead, from October 26 to November 4, a high-pressure system may build closer to the UK, offering dry spells but with increased chances of frost and fog. While the northwest may experience occasional rain and windy conditions, the overall trend suggests a cooling in temperatures.
