Airbnb’s Latest Offering: Experience Spooky Nights at the Beetlejuice Ghost House Hosted by Delia Deetz
In a unique twist for this spooky season, Airbnb is inviting fans of the comedic horror films to step into the otherworldly experience at the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice ghost house hosted by Delia Deetz. The Deetz residence, located in Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, is draped in a black shroud to commemorate the loss of its creator.
Delia Deetz, the host of the Airbnb listing, welcomes artistic souls to visit her home, promising an unparalleled interior curated by herself. Guests can expect an art tour that includes visiting the Maitlands’ Winter River model and even a trip to the waiting room for the recently deceased – the Afterlife – if they dare say his name.
During their stay at the haunted Beetlejuice house, guests will have the opportunity to participate in an art class hosted by Delia from the Afterlife. The experience includes creating art on a black canvas, embracing their fears, and taking home a small piece of their creation after its destruction.
This unique experience at the Deetz residence is available for booking between 23 October and 4 November, with selected fans granted the chance to stay between 26 and 27 November. The experience is designed for six guests over 13 years old and offers 10 free three-hour sessions filled with tricks, treats, and ghoulish surprises.
Additionally, as part of Airbnb’s series of iconic properties, guests will also enjoy a complimentary one-night stay at an Airbnb listing in Princeton, New Jersey, making the entire Beetlejuice escapade even more immersive.
The Beetlejuice ghost house is just one of many fictional properties brought to life by Airbnb. Previously, guests had the opportunity to stay in a life-sized dollhouse celebrating the 35th anniversary of Polly Pocket in Littleton, Massachusetts. Guests could enjoy 90s nostalgia, accessorize at Polly’s vanity, indulge in retro snacks, and partake in various activities during their stay.
