Although Swedish authorities declined to prosecute, Klein was banned from the rehearsal and did not participate in the final competition.

I need to give myself more time to heal.” AVROTROS has assured fans that they have received guarantees from the EBU for structural changes to be implemented at the music festival, including increased safety measures such as significantly reduced backstage filming, a safety manager, and a safe space for performers in the 2025 edition in Basel.
Switzerland emerged as the winner of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, with Nemo securing the title by accumulating the most points from national juries and viewers worldwide. AVROTROS is now on the lookout for a new Dutch representative for the 2025 competition, and interested performers have until November 22 to apply.
