A ScotRail employee was recently confronted at the ticket booth of a train station after being ensnared in a sting operation targeting paedophiles. James Gilchrist, aged 64, engaged in explicit conversations with an online decoy, believing it to be a minor, only to discover later that it was an adult posing as a child. The exchange quickly turned towards sexual topics, prompting members of a vigilante group to locate him at his residence in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire. Upon learning that Gilchrist was at work, the group tracked him down to Blantyre train station in May of last year.
