West Lothian church holiday club celebrates tenth anniversary
The West Kirk & Polbeth Harwood churches recently marked a significant milestone as they celebrated the tenth anniversary of their holiday club. The annual summer club, catering to primary school children, took place at the Polbeth Harwood church. Organisers expressed their joy in welcoming both new children and familiar faces to the club, describing it as a truly memorable week.
With a record attendance of 74 children, the week was filled with exciting activities such as bible stories, comedy performances, outdoor games, crafts, and messy challenges. The participants also enjoyed adventures at Rocky’s Plaice, the fictional fish & chip shop. The success of the event was attributed to the meticulous planning and the dedicated team of over 40 adult volunteers, including 14 youth helpers aged between thirteen and eighteen.
