Allan Bryant’s Family Honours Him with Balloon Tribute at Scottish Nightclub Where He Disappeared 11 Years Ago
The family of Allan Bryant paid tribute to him at the Styx nightclub in Glenrothes, the last place he was seen alive 11 years ago. Allan was 23 years old when he vanished without a trace after leaving the nightclub in the early hours of November 3, 2013. He had gone to a party at Leslie Golf Club with friends, but left for the Styx nightclub around midnight. CCTV footage captured him leaving the nightclub just after 2 am.
Allan’s mother, Marie, and his two sisters, Amy and Marie, visited the nightclub on the anniversary of his disappearance and placed heart-shaped balloons in his memory. Allan Bryant Snr, Allan’s father, believes his son was attacked the night he went missing. He recently made a plea to the local community for any new information regarding Allan’s disappearance. The family continues to keep Allan’s memory alive and honor him each year with a tribute at the nightclub.
Speaking of his son’s disappearance, Allan Snr said, “Allan’s mum Marie and sisters Amy and Marie met up with our two nieces Claire and Nicole and went up to Styx nightclub this morning to put up 11 heart balloons, to mark each year our son has been missing.” He expressed how difficult it is for the family, especially Marie, to cope with the loss of Allan. The family shared their love and longing for Allan, expressing how much they miss him and how proud they are of their daughters, Amy and Sophie.
