Stirling rail commuters to have Pudsey visit as Children in Need fundraising kicks into gear

Stirling Rail Commuters to Receive Visit from Pudsey for Children in Need Fundraising Efforts

Commuters at Stirling station are in for a treat as the iconic Pudsey Bear makes a special visit as part of the annual fundraising event for Children in Need. Stirling and Bridge of Allan Round Table are spearheading the fundraising campaign to support the charity, with Pudsey set to make appearances at various locations throughout the region.

The beloved bear will be taken to the summit of Dumyat and will visit schools, nurseries, and even Blair Drummond Safari Park. In a new twist for this year’s event, Pudsey will return to Stirling station for morning and evening bucket collections in a bid to engage and collect donations from commuters. The Round Table volunteers are working tirelessly to ensure the success of the fundraiser, with all funds raised going directly to Children in Need.

Organiser Paul Ford expressed gratitude to ScotRail for allowing Pudsey to return to the station and praised the station’s management team for their support. Ford highlighted the importance of community support in making the fundraiser a success and urged everyone to contribute towards this noble cause.

For those unable to donate in person, contributions can be made to the Round Table’s Children in Need fundraiser through their JustGiving page. The community is encouraged to show their generosity and support for Children in Need through these various initiatives.

As the festive season approaches, let’s come together to make a difference in the lives of children in need.
