Coatbridge, Airdrie & Monklands Rotary Club recently hosted their annual young musician competition at Airdrie Academy, shining a spotlight on 29 talented pupils. Past-president Colin Ooi warmly welcomed pupils, parents, and the audience to the prestigious event.
The judging panel, consisting of music teachers Scott McCorkindale and Hope Sim, faced the challenging task of selecting winners in various categories, as well as an overall winner and runner-up. Ultimately, Nathan Donnelly secured the coveted title of overall winner, with Joseph Howard being awarded the runner-up position.
