The altercation between Morton and Smith had started earlier at Green Park in Kinross, culminating in Morton driving her white Audi into Smith, causing her injuries.
During the trial, testimonies revealed a long-standing feud between the two mothers, with conflicting accounts of the events leading up to the violent encounter.
