Fears are mounting for a pensioner from Scotland who has dementia and went missing without his medication. Alexander Marshall, 75, disappeared from the Novar Drive area in Glasgow’s west end around 9.40 am on Tuesday, November 27. Authorities are expressing serious concerns for his safety. Known as Sandy, Alexander was last spotted at a shop on Argyle Street at Glassford Street at 1 pm, and later in the Queen Street Station vicinity at 1.45 pm. It is believed that Alexander did not have his necessary medication with him.
Described as approximately 5ft 8ins tall, slim, with short grey/white hair and a beard, Alexander was last seen wearing a grey jumper, brown gilet, blue jacket, blue jeans, brown shoes, and a black hat. It’s common for him to use buses and trains, and while he usually frequents the Partick and Hyndland areas, he has also been known to travel to Airdrie and Glasgow City Centre. Authorities are urging commuters using public transport to remain vigilant and report any sightings of Alexander.
