Kylie Jenner stunned fans with a rare appearance on the runway at Paris Fashion Week, closing Coperni’s show at Disneyland Paris. The 27-year-old reality star, who recently supported her sister Kendall at Schiaparelli’s show, showcased a black taffeta bouffant gown with Disney’s magic castle as the backdrop.
This marked Jenner’s first runway appearance since modelling for Sherri Hill in 2013, and her first for a high fashion house. She originally walked for Avril Lavigne’s label Abbey Dawn at the age of 14. The grand finale of the Coperni show featured fireworks behind the iconic pink castle, with supermodel Irina Shayk also strutting down the runway alongside Jenner. Notable attendees included actors James Franco and Cole Sprouse.
Taking to Instagram, Jenner expressed her gratitude to Coperni founders Sebastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant for the opportunity, calling the experience a “real-life princess” moment that she will never forget. Fans took to social media to share their excitement over Jenner’s unexpected appearance on the catwalk, with many praising her runway prowess.
Coperni has already released a teaser for its new Mickey Mouse Swipe Bag, priced at $820 (£616), inspired by the collaboration with Disney during the SS25 show. Jenner, who has two children with her ex-partner Travis Scott, has often been seen enjoying time at Disney parks with her kids. In a Vogue interview, she hinted at the magical nature of Paris, where unexpected opportunities seem to arise every time she visits.
The appearance of Jenner at Disneyland Paris for the Coperni show has certainly added a touch of glamour and excitement to this year’s Paris Fashion Week, leaving fans in awe of the unexpected runway debut by the renowned reality star.
