Young footballers from the Cambuslang community have been given a stylish makeover this season, thanks to a generous sponsorship from a leading housebuilder. The Cambuslang Football Club recently unveiled the new kits for their 2010 Blacks team, featuring striking red and black colours that reflect both the club’s signature colours and the branding of their sponsor, Dawn Homes.
The players, aged between 13 and 14 years old, have expressed their excitement over the new jerseys, which have already become a hit on the field. Paul Cuthbert, the head coach and team secretary of Cambuslang FC 2010 Blacks, expressed his gratitude towards Dawn Homes for their support, highlighting the importance of such sponsorships in sustaining the club’s operations, which are primarily run by dedicated local volunteers.
Dawn Homes, known for its commitment to the Cambuslang community, has not only sponsored the football team but also contributed to the development of the area through projects like the Camas Walk development. This development offers a range of family homes, catering to various needs and preferences within the community.
Andy Curran, the managing director of Dawn Homes, emphasised the company’s belief in supporting local communities and promoting active lifestyles. He commended the volunteers at Cambuslang Football Club for their hard work and dedication, stating that Dawn Homes is proud to play a role in nurturing young talents on and off the field.
The partnership between Dawn Homes and Cambuslang FC is a shining example of how businesses can positively impact local communities and youth development through sports sponsorships and community engagement. The new kits not only symbolise team pride but also the spirit of collaboration and support that enriches the Cambuslang community.
