Tragic Accident: Two Young Children Die in House Fire
Louis Busuioc, 5, and his sister Desire, 3, lost their lives in a heartbreaking house fire in Preston. The siblings accidentally sparked the blaze while playing with a lighter as their mother, Lorena, was asleep. The children somehow managed to unlock their bedroom door with a coat hanger, descended downstairs, and ignited the sofa with the lighter. Lorena woke up to smoke, attempted to push her children out of an upstairs window, but tragically, they sustained fatal brain injuries by the time they were rescued.
