CCTV released of masked man after Scots petrol station robbed at knife-point
Police Scotland has released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a robbery at a petrol station in South Queensferry. The incident occurred on Friday, October 25, at Ferrymuir Gait in the town, close to the M90 and Forth Bridges. A man was reported to have threatened a staff member with a bladed weapon, demanding money before fleeing with a small sum of cash. Fortunately, the staff member was unharmed but left “shocked” by the incident.
Detective Sergeant Martin Smith from Police Scotland stated that the individual in the released images could have valuable information to aid their investigation. The man is described as white, standing between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, and was wearing distinctive clothing including a black beanie hat, grey snood, brown coat with fur trim, blue jeans, and white trainers. Additionally, he had a black backpack and blue gloves.
